Hello everybody!! Looooooong time, no see... We're really really sorry about that, it's been a few hard months for all of us, lots of changes, delays and disappointments, but hopefully we're getting on the right track. We'd like to thank all those who sent messages and stood by us, we promise your waiting won't be for nothing.
So let's start with the beginning. One of the changes mentioned above is the new feminine formula of the band (see picture above). It wasn't really planned, but after trying a few different versions, this was the one that seemed to work perfectly in the end. We'll keep you posted with more details about the new members.
On another note, Lady Axe band is booked to play at the WINDHOEK METAL FEST 2009 Edition. The Festival will take place on 26 & 27 June 2009, in Windhoek, Namibia, and will feature some great SA Metal bands.

Hey girlie! Glad to see an update, although I've been keeping up w/ you via email and FB statuses. I wish I was independently wealthy b/c you wouldn't have any trouble getting financial backing.

Very few people know that LadyAxe made history at the WINDHOEK METALFEST.....it was the first time that THREE GENERATIONS OF WOMEN played in the same metal band!!!
Nobody knew that the drummer is the guitarist's GRANDMOTHER!!!
It was a blast!
