LADY AXE TO PLAY AT WINDHOEK METAL FEST

Hello everybody!! Looooooong time, no see... We're really really sorry about that, it's been a few hard months for all of us, lots of changes, delays and disappointments, but hopefully we're getting on the right track.

We'd like to thank all those who sent messages and stood by us, we promise your waiting won't be for nothing.

So let's start with the beginning. One of the changes mentioned above is the new feminine formula of the band (see picture above). It wasn't really planned, but after trying a few different versions, this was the one that seemed to work perfectly in the end. We'll keep you posted with more details about the new members.

On another note, Lady Axe band is booked to play at the WINDHOEK METAL FEST 2009 Edition. The Festival will take place on 26 & 27 June 2009, in Windhoek, Namibia, and will feature some great SA Metal bands.

LADY AXE TO PLAY AT MOTHERFUDD 2009

MotherFudd Organizer, Ivonne Pennicott, has invited Lady Axe to play at the 2009 Edition, which will take place in February 13th-15th.

MotherFudd was created to help Metal and Rock bands promote themselves and to have a haven of their own. It is a gathering of people who love metal and rock music and a place for the bands to show their talents. As we all know there is a large underground following of Metal and Hard Rock but unfortunately the bands are held back by not being commercial.
The Bands are not able to appear at some Music Festivals nor is their music promoted on certain radio/T.V. stations.
Hence MotherFudd was born. It is not available to have any commercial music played.MotherFudd is a Camp over venue. Friday to Sunday and only the best metal and Hard Rock music is played. (Source)

Hi everyone!!!

I am currently shooting a new horror short called "H.A.M." and it will be submitted to the annual Cape Town S.A. HorrorFest.

Also, by mid-October, I will post the music video for "WIDOWS PEAK" here on Helltic.
I am happy (and very relieved) to report that LadyAxe is now officially a 4 piece band, featuring CHRIS KOCH on guitar, JON CASE on drums and STEVEN HARZEN on bass.
